Shipping and Return
Policies SALES ARE FINAL: All orders are
non-returnable, exchangeable or refundable. We are able to offer our
lowest possible price in part because we do not handle returns or exchanges. Please make sure you order a
current sample prior to purchasing.
ORDERING TILE & TILE SAMPLES:
A certain amount of shade and texture variation may occur due to
the inherent conditions of glass mosaic tile. This is not considered a
defect in materials. We STRONGLY recommend obtaining
a current sample prior
to placing your tile order. Tile color and characteristics cannot be determined from looking
at an online picture. In addition, one picture does not accurately show
how the tile will look from all angles. Tiles may vary in
shade and characteristics
from samples depending upon dye lots, patterns, the manufacturing
process, etc. We are not
responsible for differences in tile samples received
from other sources. If your tile selection has patterns, textures,
colors, iridescence, etc., that cannot be seen in it's entirety from a 3x3
sample swatch, please order a full sheet (or several samples) in order to see the overall look. **Please order sufficient
tile to complete your project.** It is an industry standard to order
a minimum of 10% extra tile for your project for installation, as well
as future repairs. Dye lots are subject to change. If you need to place a
reorder, your original dye lot may no longer
be available & you may receive a dye lot that does not match the
original.
Tile photos may be
reduced or enlarged to show tile detail, or the overall pattern of the
tile. Tile samples may be shipped to a PO Box, but a residential or
commercial street address is required for tile order delivery.
LEAD TIMES:
Generally, in stock orders take
24-48 business hours to process and delivery is 3-5 business days after
shipping. Lead times are estimates and are
subject to change. We try to be as accurate as possible, but there will
be times when it will take longer than expected. We are not responsible
for costs or inconveniences incurred due to
delays. We will notify you of the delay as soon as possible.
If you need expedited
shipping, please call for a quote prior to ordering.
SHIPPING CHARGES:
Items listed as "including
shipping" refer to shipping addresses in the continental US,
excluding Hawaii and Alaska. All other
areas, please call for a custom shipping quote. Broken box fees, freight charges, pallet
costs, residential delivery charges, etc. may be additional. You
will be notified of additional costs prior to your order shipping. Items not
listing shipping charges must be custom quoted.
INSPECTION & ACCEPTANCE:
Please open and examine your entire order as soon as you receive it to
verify the quality and condition. If you've ordered a tile that is
obscured by paper, remove part of the paper from the face of the tile,
to make sure you have received the correct material. If a product is
found to be defective during the inspection, Modern Tile Studio will
replace the product. If a product has shipping damage, Modern Tile
Studio will, at it's option, replace or refund the order. If defects or
damages are reported, Modern Tile Studio will, at it's option, require a
piece of the damaged tile to be shipped to us for inspection, and/or for
photos of the damaged tile prior to replacement or refund. Our tiles
are well packaged when shipped. Although it is rare, damages may occur.
Damages, defects and/or discrepancies must be reported to Modern Tile Studio within 3 days of receipt of materials
(referred to as the inspection period).
Installation of tile constitutes acceptance of the
entire tile order.
If your product arrives damaged, contact us by phone
immediately so that we can file a damage claim with the shipper. If
there are shipping damages, please save the box and shipping materials
the tile arrived in-- freight carriers require the original packaging to
investigate and pay a claim. You will be required to retain the damaged
material while the freight carrier conducts it's
investigation. Modern Tile Studio's obligation is limited to the
replacement or refund referenced above. Purchaser is responsible for all
other costs. Such costs may include, but are not limited to: shipping,
delivery, handling, installation, etc. Please do not return tile
directly to Modern Tile Studio or the manufacturer without prior authorization from Modern Tile
Studio. Tile returned without a return authorization number will be
rejected by the manufacturer and/or Modern Tile Studio and you will incur return shipping charges when
the unauthorized return is not accepted.
Recommendations of fitness for a particular purpose are made by the tile
manufacturer or distributor and repeated by Modern Tile Studio, Inc. on
this site. The company makes no warranty regarding fitness for a
particular purpose. This warranty replaces all other warranties, express
or implied. Modern Tile Studio, Inc. makes no express warranty beyond that stated here.
