Policies
ORDERING TILE & TILE SAMPLES:
Some color
variation is inherent in the manufacture of tiles. We are not
responsible for color variations. We recommend obtaining samples prior
to placing your tile order. In addition, some tiles may vary slightly
from samples depending upon dye lots, patterns, etc.
**Please order sufficient
tile to complete your project.**
It is an industry standard to have 10% extra for
tile overage. Dye lots are subject to change. If you need to place a
reorder due to insufficient supply, you may receive a dye lot that does
not match. We cannot assume responsibility for this occurrence.
LEAD TIMES:
Lead times are estimates and are
subject to change. We try to be as accurate as possible, but there will
be times when it will take longer than expected. This is out of our
control we are not responsible for delays or costs incurred due to
delays. We will notify you of the delay as soon as possible.
SHIPPING CHARGES:
Items listed as "including
shipping" refer to shipping addresses in the continental US,
excluding Hawaii and Alaska. All other
areas, please call for a custom shipping quote. Freight charges, pallet
costs, residential delivery charges, etc. may be additional. Items not
listing shipping charges must be custom quoted. In rare cases, shipping charges may
change. You will be notified before your order is processed if this is
the case.
INSPECTION & ACCEPTANCE:
Please open and examine your entire order as soon as you receive it to
verify the quality and condition. Our tiles
are well packaged when shipped. Although it is rare, damages may occur.
Damages and/or discrepancies must be reported within 3 days of receipt of materials. Installation of tile constitutes acceptance of the tile order.
If your product arrives damaged, contact us by phone immediately so that
we can assist in filing a damage claim with the shipper. If there
are shipping damages, please
save the box and shipping materials the package arrived in.
If a product is found to be defective during the inspection, Modern Tile
Studio, Inc. (the company) will, at its option, replace the product or refund the
purchase price. No warranty is expressed or implied beyond the
inspection period. Modern Tile Studio's obligation is limited to the
replacement or refund referenced above. Purchaser is responsible for all
other costs. Such costs may include, but are not limited to: shipping,
delivery, handling, installation, etc. A certain amount of shade
variation may occur due to the inherent conditions of glass mosaic tile.
This is not a defect in materials subject to this limited warranty. The
warranty period ends upon satisfactory inspection of the product and
there are no warranties on the product after inspection. Manufacturer's
defects discovered after the inspection period will be referred to the
manufacturer for resolution. Recommendations
of fitness for a particular purpose are made by the tile manufacturer or
distributor and repeated by Modern Tile Studio, Inc. on this site. The
company makes no warranty regarding fitness for a particular purpose. This warranty
replaces all other warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited
to, the implied merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. The company makes no express warranty beyond that stated here.
SALES ARE FINAL:
Tile sales are
considered custom orders. All orders are considered final and are
non-returnable or refundable. Rarely, exchanges may be
possible with restocking fees and customer-paid return shipping charges.
